MacArthur Elementary

8:35 am - 9:30 am, October 30:  Spooky spectators big and small are invited to come and watch our annual Kdg - 3rd gr Halloween Parade. All Kdg - 3rd gr students who choose to dress up for the parade are asked to wear their costume to school that morning.  We will walk for a while, so please make sure your child is also wearing comfortable shoes. For student safety, School Board policy states that no simulated weapons are allowed on school campuses, therefore, if your child’s costume comes with a simulated weapon, please leave it at home.  Gory masks are not allowed.  Our Halloween caravan will begin on the east sidewalk along Barkley St and we will parade on the sidewalk outside the perimeter of the school and end in front of the school on McLellan.  By 9:30 am, the students will change back to their regular school clothes and return to their normal school day. Please send a large paper or plastic bag to school with your child that day to carry their costume, projects and papers.
